After a bit of a lull it seems like our lives have been given some more direction. After much thought and time for thought we have decided to return to Australia.
its been quite a while now since I added anything to this site. A lot has happened and also a lot has not happened. certainly interesting times
after a thouroughly enjoyable jaunt around Bali and Malaysia, we find ourselves back in grey britain ...
A couple of days in the main town on Penang - Georgetown and then off to the beach. Following a lead given by a helpful tri-shaw operator, we find ourseleves at Ali's Guest house in Batu Ferengi.
After a great four days in Melaka , we caught the express bus to KL and some how ended up in a low budget backpackers.
After a wonderful two weeks in Bali, we decide to travel around Malaysia starting with the historic old town of Melaka
Still in Ubud and still at Gayatri Bungalows. the view from the roof of the 'tower' is great. We'll try to see the sunset from there tonight
After a hair raising drive by mini bus through the mountains we arrived safely in Ubud and found a nice place to stay.
We arrived in Lovina on Sunday ( 24 October) and checked in to the Hotel BAyu kartika. A very pleasant place indeed although the original non AC room was a bit stuffy in the heat of the North.
After nearly 2 years in Fiji it is time to move on so we're heading back to UK via some destinations in SE Asia.
